The "Russian Language Fever" in the Exhibition Hall: Unplanned Intense Connections

On October 16, 2024, during the first phase of the 136th Canton Fair, the factory hall was bustling with people. Just after we finished demonstrating samples to a client from the Middle East, three buyers with Russian product brochures stopped us in our tracks. "May I ask if you have mobile energy storage power supplies suitable for trucks?" the leading buyer, Alexander, asked in slightly accented English, with his identification card showing that he was from the automotive company in the Karachay Republic of Russia.

This was no coincidence. The number of overseas buyers attending the fair in person this year exceeded 120,000, and the growth of Russian visitors was particularly significant. At our booth, within just one morning, we received five batches of Russian customers. Their focus was highly concentrated: from energy storage equipment in the new energy hall, to in-vehicle smart kitchen appliances, and to various special vehicle accessories, which precisely matched our main product line this year.
